Earthly is one year old

Earthly.be celebrates its first anniversary. In August 2025, founder Evelyn Dries started with no experience in sales or product development, but with a solid foundation in marketing and a strong passion for sustainability. Today, earthly has grown into a brand with a clear identity and a growing community.

“It was a journey of falling, getting up, and growing,” says Evelyn Dries. “I am proud that earthly has made so many strides in such a short time. I owe this largely to my friends, family, and biggest fans.”

Milestones of the first year

  • The tea assortment grew from 21 to 31 varieties
  • The number of accessories expanded from 10 to 26 items
  • The range was expanded with honey, chocolate, and candles
  • Earthly participated in 7 markets

In addition, earthly invested in branding and professionalization: new labels (still in development), offline marketing such as flyers, cards, and posters, and a refreshed website in a consistent corporate style.

Lessons learned along the way

For founder Evelyn Dries, this first year was an intensive learning experience. She delved into pricing, sales, accountancy, and logistics, combining it with her marketing background. Her knowledge of sustainability also grew significantly.

“Transparency is important to me. That’s why I will soon publish my first sustainability report, so everyone can see what choices I make and how I continue to improve,” says Evelyn Dries.

Outlook

Earthly looks positively to the future:

  • From September, earthly will be present in a concept store in Lier
  • The coffee assortment will be expanded
  • In the longer term, Evelyn wants to evolve towards her own store, supported by a community that promotes sustainability
